One shipment, the right method
Heavy cargo moves in specific ways. We match each item to the method that protects it and keeps the cost sensible.
Roll-on / Roll-off
Operable vehicles and self-propelled machines drive onto the vessel and are secured on deck. It is usually the most economical way to move anything that runs.
Best for operable vehicles and machines
Roll-on / Roll-off
Best for operable vehicles and machines
Flat rack
Best for oversized or non-running loads
Enclosed container
Best for parts and compact units
Breakbulk / heavy-lift
Best for extreme dimensions
Ports we deliver to
We cover the whole continent, not one corner of it. Ocean transit typically runs three to eight weeks depending on the coast and the carrier schedule. Select a port to see what it reaches inland.
Shipping somewhere not listed? We quote any commercial port on the continent.

About Husser Logistics
We started Husser Logistics to make one route simple: getting cargo bought in the United States to buyers across Africa without the usual guesswork.
We work alongside a licensed freight forwarder in the family, so shipments move through people who have run this lane before. We handle the sourcing and the trucking to the port, along with the export paperwork. You get a straight answer and one number to call.
Questions, answered
How long does shipping to Africa take?
Ocean transit usually runs three to eight weeks. West African ports are the quickest run from the U.S. East Coast, while East and Southern African ports sit at the longer end. Inland trucking and customs clearance add time on each end, and your quote spells out the full timeline.
Do you only ship heavy equipment?
No. Machinery is the bulk of what we move, but the same lane carries vehicles, spare parts, tools, generators, building materials, and household goods. Smaller buys can be consolidated into one container.
Does my equipment need to run to ship?
No. Operable machines and vehicles usually go RoRo, which is the cheapest option. Non-running or oversized items ship on a flat rack or as breakbulk. We pick the method once we know the item.
What paperwork do you need?
At minimum, proof of ownership and a commercial invoice. The export filing, bill of lading, and customs documents are handled through our licensed forwarding partner, so you're not doing that part alone.
Can you ship something I bought at a U.S. auction?
Yes. We coordinate pickup from auction yards and dealerships, trucking to the departure port, and loading with the carrier.
How do I get a price?
Fill out the quote form with your item and destination. We follow up by phone, email, or WhatsApp to confirm the details and send pricing.
